Due to the Geological Society's closure in response to the public health risk posed by the coronavirus, no orders will be dispatched until May at the earliest. Please email sales@geolsoc.org.uk for current information.

Bookshop

Due to the ongoing public health risk posed by COVID-19, the London and Bath offices of the Geological Society are currently closed.

The dispatch of books and journals from our warehouse in Bath will resume when the office and warehouse re-open - please note that orders will not be shipped until May at the earliest.


How to get in touch

Please email us with any queries and questions - our staff are working remotely and will attend to your query as soon as possible.

Please do not telephone or send mail as the office is closed.

If you would like to place an order with us, please download and complete an order form from the catalogues page and send it to us by email. We will hold the order and process it as soon as we can. Please note that some countries have temporarily suspended acceptance of international mail (Royal Mail website).

Online bookshop orders

Orders placed online during the office and warehouse closure will be cancelled and refunded. Orders received prior to 23 March 2020 have been dispatched. In case of non-delivery, please first check that the delivery address is open to receive parcels. Please note that some countries have temporarily suspended acceptance of international mail (Royal Mail website).

Print copies of journals and Geoscientist

Please email us if you have not received a print copy of a journal. In case of non-delivery, please first check that the delivery address is open to receive mail. Please note that some countries have temporarily suspended acceptance of international mail (Royal Mail website). Claims for print issues will be serviced when the warehouse re-opens. 

The April edition of Geoscientist will be mailed as usual. Geoscientist issues are also available online.

Non-member subscriptions

Payments: Subscription payments made by account transfer will be processed as usual, please contact us for our account details.
