Using the Geological Society logo
The Society logo must never be changed or distorted, and may not be used without prior written consent.
Individuals and organisations
Use of the Society's logo is restricted to organisations which we choose to badge and thereby endorse (e.g. CPD courses), and cannot be used for individual or commercial purposes unless prior written consent is obtained.
Requests for use of the Society logo should be sent to [email protected], stating where it will be used.
Specialist and Regional Groups
Specialist and Regional Groups of the Geological Society may choose to set up their own groups and pages on external websites (including social and professional networking websites). The Society is keen to support such ventures and we are happy for you to use our logo on external websites as long as you first seek permission. Please send requests to [email protected].

Images and content used and displayed on this website (including the Rock Cycle) should not be reused without permission. Requests for use of images from our website should be sent to [email protected].
