Lickey Hills Geo-Champions: Quarry Clearance – Active Conservation

Come and see what we do to maintain the quarries and preserve our local geoheritage!
We will be working to clear the quarry and make the geology accessible for visitors and future study, and also to explain about what we do, the geology here, why it and the quarries are important and how you can help.
Event Details:
Target Audience: All ages; no prior knowledge of Geology is required.
Time: 11am-2pm
Cost: Free
Meet at Lickey Hills Visitor Centre from half ten. The Quarry is at Kendal End (posters with map available to download from the twitter feed) or ask at Lickey Hills visitor centre on the day.
Wear suitable footwear!
