The London Geodiversity Partnership has developed a seven-mile Geological Trail with the SE London Green Chain between the Thames Barrier and Lesnes Abbey.
This walk covers 12 points of geological interest including two Sites of Special Scientific Interest at Gilbert’s Pit and the fossil bed in Lesnes Abbey Woods.
