FIELD TRIP - To the Isle of Wight to view Coastal Landslide Features

This field trip is a follow-on from our evening meeting on 12th June when Professor Eddie Bromhead will be giving us an insight into the underlying geology and behaviour of the landslides that have affected the southern coastline of the Isle of Wight. The trip will be an opportunity to visit some of the landslides and witness the scale of these on the ground.
For this trip we will be travelling over to the island by hovercraft from Southsea to Ryde and then will be met by coach for Eddies's guided tour of the landslip sites. For an overview of the day please see the attached flyer.
There is a charge of £27 per person to cover the cost of the hovercraft and coach hire, payable in advance. Meals and any extras such as car parking near the hovercraft terminal (£12 per day) not included.
