Deadline for Entries Tuesday 14th September 2021

The South East Regional Group is planning to hold its Early Careers Geoscientist competition on 28th September and warmly invites geoscientists within our region to enter.  

The competition is open to geoscientists under the age of 35 for a geoscience related presentation of up to 15 minutes in length.  The panel of judges will assess both the quality of the presentation and the individual’s knowledge of the subject matter.  

The winner will receive a cash prize of £100 and our Rory Mortimore Trophy, and also have the opportunity to go forward to the national competition at Burlington House. A second prize of a book token will be awarded to the runner-up. 

This is a good forum to show your ability and skills to other members of your local region and raise your profile within the geoscience community.
