North West Regional Group Careers Afternoon

The North West regional group of the Geological Society of London will be holding the annual careers afternoon at Manchester University.

This afternoon event will open at 1pm, with first speaker on at 1:30pm.

There will be stalls for speakers companies to promote job opportunities were possible, and give students the opportunity to discuss further with geologists how best to enter specific field of geology.

There will be 10-12 minute presentations by speakers on how they got to their current position, what a geologist does in their field and what are job prospects like at the moment.

This is a must attend event for undergrads and grads looking to see which field of geology they wish to enter; as well as those professional geologists who may wish to switch/experience new fields of geology.
