Society news

Although our buildings in London and Bath are closed due to COVID-19, the Society is very much open. Explore our wealth of journal, education and Library resources (plus much more) online today.

Events

Due to the ongoing public health risk posed by COVID-19 and the consequent closure of the Geological Society, all GSL events and venue hire bookings through to the end of August are being held virtually, postponed or cancelled in line with Government advice.

Our conference team has been contacting all external clients and conference delegates directly affected. If you have any urgent queries please direct them to conference@geolsoc.org.uk. Please note, there will be a delay on processing refunds until we are back in the office.

For more information, please see our full events statement.

We are delighted to bring you details of our forthcoming conference and events, many of which are now being held virtually, including our Public Lecture programme for 2020. We are also postponing key GSL events to 2021 where possible. We look forward to welcoming you again soon.

For a full searchable calendar of events organised by the Geological Society and others, or to find out about venue hire and other services offered by the Conference Office, use the navigation menu to the left or the calendar on the right. A selection of forthcoming events are highlighted here.
