Join Professor Andy Brown with Michael McKimm, editor of the recent anthology MAP, for a special evening of readings from the collection...

MAP celebrates the first geological map of England and Wales, published 200 years ago by the geologist and engineer William Smith. This special event will include a short presentation on William Smith by Professor John Mather, Emeritus Professor of Geology at Royal Holloway, University of London... with poetry readings from the anthology by Andy Brown, Michael McKimm, Anthony Wilson, Sally Flint, Izzy Galleymore, and Stephen Boyce.

The poets will also read other poems on the themes of geology, mapping and science.

There will be a chance for Q&A, copies of the anthology on sale, and wine (by a small donation).
