The Rock and Fossil Roadshows are an educational, fun way of engaging children with geodiversity, landscape and Earth heritage, and have been specially developed for children of Primary School age.

Gloucestershire is surprisingly rich in dinosaur fossils, including Megalosaurus, a fierce dinosaur that hunted in packs, and Proceratosaurus, the earliest identified ancestor of T-rex! We also have a great variety of other local fossils, such as ammonites and shellfish, and a diversity of rock types and landscape from the Forest of Dean to the Cotswold Hills that appeals to the older audience and parents.

Venue:

Cheltenham Science Group

Time:

10am - 4pm

Cost:

Free, with admission to the Cheltenham Science Group (£2pp)
