This illustrated talk will explore the geological evolution of Devon, centering on the district around the village of Sandford and the nearby town of Crediton. 

Topics will include the Carboniferous Culm measures, the Permian red rocks and the volcanic lavas which provided much of the local building stone.

Cost: £3.00 per head – under 16s free of charge

Target Audience - All welcome: aimed at the general public with an interest in the local geology
