This special volume of Annales de Paléontologie is issued in two parts and is derived from Session 29, ‘Palaeobiodiversity of Southeast Asia’, of the 5th International Palaeontological Congress (IPC5) held in Paris in July 2018. This issue contains seven papers on the Cenozoic palaeontology of Thailand. The first issue was published as Annales de paléontologie vol.105 no.3 and contains a biography of H. Fontaine and five papers focused on the Palaeozoic and Mesozoic palaeontology of Thailand.
