EVENT CLOSED

Due to the most recent Covid-19 venue hire guidelines issued by Burlington House, the Hydrogeology Group Committee has decided to postpone this conference; it was scheduled for 20 and 21 September 2021.  The guidelines on social distancing and the limits on the numbers in the lecture theatre and the lower library are quite stringent meaning that at most a handful of in-person places would have been available. The current conditions would not allow the normal socialising and networking that you are all expecting at such an event. In addition, we do not wish to host the event if speakers and attendees are, understandably, not willing to travel and attend under the current circumstances.  The committee will continue to monitor the government guidelines and those published by Burlington House and we are expecting to host the event in early 2022.  Once a date is selected, the convenors will circulate the new date in the normal manner. The convenors apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and we thank you for your continued interest and understanding.

Postponed 2022, The Geological Society, Burlington House, London

This increasingly popular event is the third of the well-attended aquifer conferences held by the Hydrogeology Group and supported by the Contaminated Land Group. This two-day conference will focus on applied science and the management of groundwater resources and quality in sandstone aquifers in the UK and elsewhere. Several keynote speakers will be attending from the UK and abroad.
