The Society has recently responded to a request from the European Association of Science Editors to sponsor members from less-well-off countries. We have been matched with Cristina Vasiliu of GeoEcoMar in Romania. Cristina is Managing Editor of Revista Geo-Eco-Marina a scientific journal published by the National Institute of Marine Geology and Geoecology.
Geo-Eco-Marina is focused primarily on results of research performed along the Danube River – Danube Delta - Black Sea and its coastal zone macro-geo-system.
Romania’s Institute of Marine Geology and Geoecology is located in Bucharest; it also has an office by the Black Sea, in Constanta. The Society is very pleased to be able to help Cristina stay in touch with the science editing community.
