Online First for journals
Online First, the Society’s publish-ahead-of-print feature, is being rolled out for our journal publications from January 2013.
The process has been welcomed by Lyell Collection users since its introduction in 2012 for the Special Publications series which sees articles published online soon after they have been accepted for publication and before the final online or print version is produced. The system has many benefits for authors and researchers alike including reduced lead time between submission and publication, access to the very latest articles in the field and greater usage and exposure of articles, including earlier citation opportunities by related works.
