The Society’s publish-ahead-of-print system, Online First will soon be offered through the Society’s electronic publications platform, The Lyell Collection, writes Samantha Kaye.

Online First will allow users to access PDF versions of Special Publication articles that have been peer reviewed and accepted for publication prior to their inclusion in the completed volume, hence allowing the science to reach the research communities more quickly. Authors will also benefit from reduced lead times between submission and publication of articles.
