Sponsoring a book is easy
We have compiled a list of books in greatest need of repair. Each has been individually assessed to decide the level of work needed – be it a new spine, retooling of lettering or completely new covers – with the emphasis on being as true to the original binding as possible.
If there is a book which you would like to sponsor, or you would simply like to make a donation to the project, then please send a cheque, made payable to ‘The Geological Society’, to: Sponsor A Book, The Library, Geological Society of London, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London W1J 0BG.
Alternatively, to pay by credit card, phone +44 (0)20 7432 0999.
If you wish to discuss any aspect of the Sponsor A Book Appeal, such as the possible books or periodicals which you could sponsor, or the availability of a book of personal value to you, then please email the Library, phone +44 (0)20 7432 0999, write to the above address, or come into the Library to discuss matters in person.
