A chance for young geoscience professionals within the Thames Valley to showcase their work in a short (c. 20 minute) geoscience-related presentation. Up for grabs, the Richard Fox Shield and the opportunity to represent the Thames Valley at the national event finals at Burlington House.

This competition is open to young geoscience professionals (under 35 years age) who live or work in the Thames Valley.

Entrants are invited to give a 15 minute, geoscience-themed presentation at the evening event which is followed by 5 minutes for questions from the judging panel and audience.

Presentations are judged on the evening and the winner is awarded the Richard Fox Shield and a small cash prize. They will then be invited to present at the national final at Burlington House in 2015, dates tbc.

The event starts at 7pm at Peter Brett Associates offices in Reading. You are invited to arrive from 6.30 and there will be drinks and nibbles afterwards, sponsored by PBA.
