The Hydrogeological Group is 50 years old this year! To celebrate, we’ll be hosting a conference at Burlington House on 8 May. The meeting will be a exploration of how hydrogeology has progressed over the last 50 years, while also linking the past to the future with discussion on what we can learn going forward. 

We will have a number of talks from leading hydrogeologists focussing on how different areas of hydrogeology have progressed over the years. There will also be a discussion panel for the speakers and we will be awarding John Heathcote the Whitaker medal. Finally, no anniversary celebration would be complete without a celebratory cake and a wine reception!
