The Geologists' Association: The Building Stones of St Albans

This meeting has been carried over from 2014. We will be looking at a variety of building stones of various ages including those of the cathedral. The walk will last approximately 2 ½ hours and will not be strenuous. Afterwards it should be possible to visit the Verulaneum museum with its collection of Roman and related artefacts.
