The third Australasian Ground Control in Mining Conference follows the second conference held in 2010 and is aimed at practical mine site operators, technical support staff, geotechnical engineers, mining engineers, consultants and researchers in the field of mining geomechanics and ground control.
The conference will provide an update to all mining industry geotechnical personnel best practice in both Australasia and overseas. It will also act as an information exchange vehicle between the coal and metalliferous sectors of the industry, with a focus on: new technologies and developments; industry needs and mine site problem solving; and practical case studies.
