Event details
The Engineering Group of the Geological Society's 2024 Annual Conference will focus on the key themes of Groundwater in Engineering Geology and a case study theme of the Engineering Geology of Infrastructure Development, and will bring together practitioners and academics from our industry.

Continued Professional Development event
While the conference itself is excellent Continued Professional Development (CPD), we will be hosting a bespoke training session from 11am to 5.30pm on 11 April, before the start of the full conference. Sessions will focus on state-of-the-art approaches in engineering geology.
The CPD training can be booked during registration for an additional £75 onto the ticket price (which includes lunch and refreshments).
Field trip
Following the conference delegates can join us on a short field trip which will depart immediately following the conference and return to Cambridge by 5pm.
Tickets can be purchased during registration for an additional £55 and will include a packed lunch. If you are attending the field trip and require accommodation for the Saturday night, then please enquire.
