Our President, Jon Gluyas, warmly invites you to Burlington House for President’s Day on 11 June 2025 for the presentation of the 2025 Society Awards and the Senior Medallists Talks.
The awards presentation and lectures will also be available online for virtual attendees.
12.30pm: President's Day Lunch
2pm: President presents our 2025 Medals, Awards and Funds
3.15pm: Lectures by our 2025 Senior Medallists
- Lyell Medal: Prof Hugh Jenkyns, University of Oxford
- Murchison Medal: Prof Jenny Collier, Imperial College London
- William Smith Medal: Prof David Selby, Durham University
- Wollaston Medal: Prof Barbara Sherwood Lollar, University of Toronto
5.30pm: President closes the Awards Ceremony
5.40pm–7.30pm: President's Day Drinks Reception
The Society's 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Our 2025 AGM takes place at 11am on the same day.
Fellows are welcome to attend, but must register separately.

It is free to attend our 2025 Awards Ceremony and the Senior Medallist Talks in person at Burlington House. However, there is a charge for attending the optional buffet lunch and/or the optional drinks reception with our Award winners.
