Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) is advancing rapidly worldwide, yet its success depends on our ability to understand, predict, and optimise subsurface behaviour across multiple spatial and temporal scales. This conference will explore how multiscale approaches can support safe, effective, and commercially viable CCUS deployment.
We invite abstracts presenting new research, case studies, methodologies, or innovations that deepen our understanding of CCUS at any scale. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Pore- to Core Scale Processes

  • Geomechanics

  • Aquifer / Reservoir Characterisation & Performance

  • Basin & Regional Scale Screening

  • Understanding Risk & Uncertainty

  • Monitoring, Measurement & Verification (MMV)

  • Modelling, Simulation & Cross Scale Integration

We welcome contributions from both academia and industry, including active project insights, real world operational experience, emerging technologies, and current research developments.

We are also delighted to announce the return of the Energy Group Conference Prize for “Best Student or Early Career Contribution”, awarded to an eligible student or early career researcher delivering an outstanding oral presentation or poster.
