Lithium in Cornwall: An introduction to Cornish Lithium’s Trelavour Hard Rock and the Cross Lanes Geothermal Lithium Projects
The Western Regional Group is pleased to welcome Robert Groves of Cornish Lithium, an innovative
mineral exploration and extraction company based in Cornwall with two developments; the Trelavour Hard Rock Project,
and the Lithium in Geothermal Waters.
This presentation will introduce each of these projects. Robert will also provide an overview of the uses of lithium today and where it is found geologically in Cornwall.

Robert Groves
Robert has a background in engineering geology with experience of investigating ground stability in Gloucestershire,
Wiltshire, and the southwest. For the past 2 years, Rob has been an Environmental Advisor at Cornish Lithium’s
Trelavour Hard Rock Project. His responsibilities have included setting up and coordinating environmental monitoring
programmes for geoscience data collection needed for permitting a new mine operation.
He enjoys learning how the mining and industrial past has created the landscape we see today in the southwest,
particularly along the many coastal paths
