Fellows and Student Members are invited to join us for our annual Library Showcase Day. This is an opportunity to find out more about our collections and the wide range of services we offer.

We will be running two interactive sessions, at 11am and 3pm. Each session will include:

  • An introduction to the Main Library - browse the modern collections, try the Georef database, and learn how to get the most out of your e-resources
  • A visit to the Map Room - discover our collection of 40,000+ geological maps and how our Map Librarian can help with your research
  • Archives display - view a variety of treasures from our Archives and Special Collections

Your visit will start in our entrance hall, where we will view Mary Anning's portrait and the famous William Smith map.
