The 2026 National Final for the Early Career Geologist Award is hosted by the Early Career Network, subgroup of the Geological Society. This event showcases the talent and skills of early career geoscientists.
Each of the six finalists will each be showcasing their work, via a 10-15 minute presentation on a topic of their choosing, to a panel of highly acclaimed guest judges, followed by a Q&A session after each presentation.
The finalists are made up of Regional Group winners from an earlier part of the competition, and will be covering a broad range of geoscience themes. It's a great networking opportunity for all in attendance and helps to support the next generation of talent.
You do not have to be a member of the Geological Society to attend this free event, but advance registration is required.
