Following a successful inaugural meeting, AI in the Geosciences returns for its second year as a hybrid conference bringing together researchers, industry professionals, students, policymakers, and all those interested in the responsible development and application of artificial intelligence. The conference will explore how AI, machine learning, and data-driven approaches are continuing to transform the geosciences, while addressing the ethical, educational, societal, and policy considerations that accompany these rapidly evolving technologies.
The programme is designed to foster collaboration across disciplines and sectors, featuring scientific presentations, community updates, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities. Attendees will gain insight into the latest AI-enabled tools and methodologies, with real-world examples demonstrating their application to geoscience challenges. The conference will also provide a platform for knowledge exchange, professional development, and building partnerships that support innovation across the geoscience community.
