"The Geological Society publishes first-rate materials covering a variety of topics in the geological sciences. One of their most well-respected publications is the Special Publications series. This series, currently at over 500 volumes, began publishing in 1964. The material presented is first rate, with full color images and photographs, as well as fold out maps and charts as needed for articles.
The online access is first-rate. Content is easily accessible and discoverable, and the same high-quality print has been well digitized and presented in full color as well. Accessibility is top-rate. HTML format is also available for those that prefer HTML, with clearly defined sections. References are hyperlinked, and the content can be easily integrated into your library’s link resolver.
Our institute has obtained the entire archive of the content, and the process of acquiring it has been extremely easy. Our researchers have been accustomed to high quality research, and the Special Publications series continues the mission of providing first cut research materials to our institute."
