Join our Early Career Network (ECN) at Burlington House in London, or online, for the National Final of the Early Career Geologist Award.
The Early Career Geologist Award is an annual competition, designed to showcase the talent and skills of individuals who are still in the early stages of their respective geoscientific careers.
Attendees will hear from some fantastic early career speakers from across industry and academia who have competed across the UK and Hong Kong at the preliminary heats, run by our Regional Groups.
Join us as we crown the Geological Society's Early Career Geologist of the Year and present them with their winnings and the geological trophy!
This is a hybrid event, which can be attended in person at Burlington House, Piccadilly, London, or online.
- 5pm: Networking and refreshments
- 5.30pm: Competition starts
- 7.30pm: Early Career Network Annual General Meeting (AGM)
- 7.45pm: Award Ceremony
- 8pm: Event close
A networking session at a local venue will follow.
