Due to unforeseen circumstances this event has been postponed until further notice.

To celebrate the upcoming Year of the Horse, an interesting talk looking at historical Chinese language maps of China (with longitude & latitude) has been organised. Starting with the earliest known Chinese world map based on Chinese cartography that Matteo Ricci and Chinese scholars put together in 1602 (Ming Dynasty), then going through various official Qing Dynasty and Republican era maps.
