Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place President’s Day on Wednesday 17 June 2026 at 11:00am BST.
At the AGM, the 2025 Annual Accounts will be presented, along with reports on 2025 Society activity. Please see the programme for more details.
The AGM is free for all Fellows and Student Members and can be attended in-person or online.

In line with byelaw 5.11, the AGM’s agenda items include:
- Receive annual report from the President and from the Officers
- Presentation of the 2025 Annual Accounts
- Report ballot results for new members of Council and Officers 2026-27
- Election of Honorary Fellows
- Record the Fellows and Honorary Fellows who have died in the past year
- Any other business if required by the Royal Charter, Byelaws and Regulations
Proxy voting will be permitted in accordance with Regulations, please contact AGM@geolsoc.org.uk to request no later than 10 June 2026.
