Non Public Reporting, the UNFC and CRIRSCO-UNFC Bridging Document

What the United Nations Framework Classification for Resources (UNFC) is, why it is important, how it differs from the CRIRSCO-type codes, how the two classification systems can be correlated with each other using the Bridging Document, and the application of the two systems for strategic and non-public reporting

  • To understand the differences between the UNFC and CRIRSCO-type classification systems;
  • How the UNFC system works, how the three-dimensional EFG axes are constructed and what they mean;
  • To understand the difference between a Project-based and a Mineral Category-based classification in the UNFC;
  • To understand the use of the Bridging Document between the UNFC and CRIRSCO;
  • A practical example of Mineral Resource Management and the Project Pipeline, that demonstrates the complementary nature of the UNFC and CRIRSCO classification systems;

Course modules will be presented by a range of different presenters all of whom have considerable experience in assessment of and reporting on Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves.
