The three parts of this short course provide an overview of carbonate platform sequences, cycle stratigraphy, and reservoirs in greenhouse and ice-house worlds; the use of one- and two-dimensional cycle analysis in establishing high-frequency sequence frameworks; and the sequence stratigraphy and reservoir delineation of the middle Pennsylvanian of the Paradox Basin and Aneth field.
