At a Special General Meeting on 8 October, Fellows of the Geological Society voted unanimously to approve a revised set of Byelaws and to endorse a revised Royal Charter. The Society will now petition the Privy Council to adopt these revised governing documents. The revised Byelaws below have come into immediate use and the revised Royal Charter will be adopted once the Privy Council confirms that Royal approval has been granted.
