EVENT CLOSED
The next annual Tectonic Studies Group meeting will take place in Edinburgh from January 6-8, 2015.
We will emphasise the following themes:
- Earthquakes in the geological record
- Rock deformation in nature, experiments and simulations on multiple scales
- The evolution of fluids and transport properties in deforming rocks
- Advances in regional geology and tectonics
However, the meeting aims to showcase a wide range of on-going research in structural geology and related disciplines and encourages submissions outside the above themes. The conference will foster opportunities for discussion and networking across all academic levels. We do particularly invite early career researchers to present their work.
Confirmed Keynote Speakers:
Extended keynote lectures will be given by:
- Alexandre Schubnel (ENS, France)
- Julia Gale (UTexas Austin, USA)
- and Samuel Angiboust (GFZ, Germany).
