Talks and hands-on practical sessions. Study a museum-quality worldwide geological collection, scrutinise inner secrets of igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks with a microscope with maps and books to use.
Visit Keswick Museum’s selected geological specimens, plus John Ruskin’s personal collection.
Brief afternoon trip out (weather permitting – dress for walking, warmth and dryness)
