The Engineering Group will host our 2023 Annual Conference from Sunday 26 until Tuesday 28 March at Christ’s College Cambridge.

Event Details

The theme of this year’s conference is a celebration of the life and times of the late Professor Peter Fookes, the First Glossop Medal winner. Sessions are themed around the geological ground model, engineering geomorphology, geomaterials and hot deserts.

Field Trip

An optional field trip will be run on Saturday 25th March led by Tim Holt-Wilson to visit the Brecks Earth Heritage Trail. The Trail will examine the geology, soils, geomorphology, hydrology, biodiversity, landscape, architecture and archaeology to interpret the geodiversity of the Breckland area of East Anglia.
