Events & Courses

This evening meeting of the South East Regional Group is for Geological Society members who are thinking about pursuing or already working towards their CGeol or CSci award. The evening will enable members to gain information on the application and scrutinising processes and to get answers to any questions they may have in a relaxed atmosphere.

Please arrive from 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start.

Speakers

We will have presentations from Shaun Richardson (Geological Society Chartership Officer), who will outline the requirements and processes for the CGeol and CSci systems, and John Davis (a very experienced scrutineer), who will explain the role of the scrutineer and what they are looking for in Chartership submissions. 

We also hope to have some recently chartered members present to share their experiences. There will be ample opportunity for members to ask questions.
