Join the Yorkshire Geological Society for a series of invited talks reviewing the critical role played by the geosphere in deep geological disposal of higher activity radioactive waste.
Attendees will hear talks by invited experts (from Radioactive Waste Management, the British Geological Survey and others) that provide a summary and update on the UK GDF programme, and which explore the methods used to characterise the subsurface and model the operational and post-closure evolution of potential GDF sites.
