This event was a free workshop supported and promoted by the Contaminated Land Forum North East Thames (CLF:NET) and the Geological Society's Specialist Contaminated Land Group (CLG).

CLF:NET is a voluntary body that offers seminars and workshops on land quality issues for brownfield practitioners within the Thames North East Area (Bucks, Herts, Essex, London). The forum is applicable to regulators, consultants, remediation contractors, lawyers, academics, site owners and developers and is run by a small steering group of professionals representing both the private and public sector. Topics covered include gas, soil, surface water and groundwater affected by contamination.

The aims of the Forum are to:

  • Promote and share best practice
  • Provide technical updates
  • Encourage dialogue
  • Develop partnerships
