The 2017 Trans-Iapetus Workshop is focused on the formation and the destruction of the Iapetus Ocean. This meeting broadly follows on from the Highland Workshop series and contributions are welcome from geochronology, geochemistry, palaeontology and palaeomagnetism to geodynamic modeling. Anything Iapetus related!
The meeting will be hosted at the University of Hull and will hopefully be followed by a field trip to see some fabulous geology in Northern Wales.
