Hydrogeology is a profession and the ECHN supports sharing knowledge between professionals. Please register and put the dates in your diaries to attend the conference, engage with interesting speakers and to share your knowledge with other Early Career Hydrogeologists.

Who Should Attend?

The term 'Early Career Hydrogeologist' indicates all people who are making their first steps in this field as professionals or researchers AND all those people who are making their first steps in this field at all, as Masters students.

Why Should I Attend?

ECHC 2017 Conference allows you to meet early career hydrogeologists, learn from some 'seasoned professionals' and it is a good opportunity to create a solid and "forward looking" professional network! 

The conference will provide 1 Day CPD Credit for the Friday and optional 1/2 Day CPD Credit for the Field Trip on Saturday. You will be provided with certification for your training records.

Call for Poster Session Abstracts

We'd like to encourage you to present your work in the mid-day poster session. Simply submit your abstract (max 200 words) to [email protected] by 18th August 2017, indicating title, authors and affiliations. We like noisy rooms, and the best way to keep a room noisy is having a lot of people sharing their knowledge/interacting with each other!

Social Event

An opportunity to socialise and increase your professional network, accompanied by a great band playing for attendees on a Friday night!
