Full-day field trip to Hawridge, Cholesbury, Buckland Common, St Leonards and Wendover Woods, including the Grey Chalk (former Lower Chalk) and White Chalk (former Middle Chalk and former Upper Chalk combined) Subgroups, the Melbourn Rock and Chalk Rock Formations.
The leader will be John Wong.
Time and meeting place
Meet at 11.00 outside the Full Moon public house, Cholesbury Lane, Hawridge Common, Cholesbury, HP5 2UH. Ordnance Survey grid reference SP936069.
Cost
Free, but car park is pay on exit and bring a packed lunch or buy lunch in the pub.
