The Geological Society's Early Career Network and Mineral Deposits Studies Group are pleased to offer an introductory CPD-accredited Micromine software training course.

Micromine is a popular industry-standard software package used by mining and mineral exploration companies. This 'Introduction to Micromine' will teach you the basics and provide an overview of key features, including data entry/importing, visual integration of different 2D and 3D data using the Vizex (Visual Explorer) interface, generating drillhole sections and producing printed output.

To attend this event, you must be a Fellow or Candidate Fellow of the Geological Society. If you are the former, you must have fewer than 10 years' experience.

No prior knowledge of Micromine is required.

Cost and registration information

Tickets can be purchased on the Eventbrite page for £25 per person. The course is the same CPD-accredited training offered quarterly by Micromine, however at a heavily discounted rate (the standard price is £110). The ECN is delighted to be working with the Mineral Deposits Studies Group who are kindly subsidising this event for our members.

Please note that the maximum capacity of the workshop is 10 people, so please register as soon as possible if you are interested.
