Stourport and Tenbury Libraries Geological Timeline Challenge
Drop in during library opening hours to complete the challenge and enter a draw to win a geology themed prize!
Courtyard Arts Gallery, Hertford Gryphaea and Friends
Opening on 16th October, an exhibition by Melanie Ewer reflecting the geology and fossils of the British Isles from the Cambrian period to the present day.

A geo walk to discover the geological history of the Burrington rocks, from oldest to youngest carboniferous rocks as we walk up the Combe. 
Sidmouth Science Festival 'Shake, Rattle & Rocks' Geo Day (11am-5pm)
Interactive displays and activities featuring rocks, fossils, minerals and the Earth’s dynamic processes, highlighting the geology of the Jurassic Coast, Torbay Geo Park and the West Devon mining area.

Mendip Rocks! Festival 'Explore Ebbor Gorge' Family Fun Day (10am-4pm) 

Fun packed family day of ‘sand pit fossil digs’, story-telling, guided walks to gorge and caves and much more to reveal the reserve’s unique geology and rare archaeological finds. 


Cotton On Studios, Morcambe Pebble Felting at Cotton On (Hourly workshops, 1pm-3.45pm)
Decorate beach pebbles with felt you make yourself, and learn a bit more about that huge part of the local landscape, the beach.
