EVENT CLOSED

This is the Engineering Group’s first early career’s evening meeting which is aimed at providing a platform for our younger and less experienced members to present publicly. The real aim of this meeting is to provide the chance for graduates to share their varied experiences and opinions on how they see our discipline developing. We want to open the floor to critical, new ways of thinking through allowing the next generation a chance to openly present their views.

Each presenter is given a 10 minute slot to present on their contributions to recent projects, developments in industry and research, as well as highlighting any key experiences, learning points or issues encountered since starting their careers.

Please note, the event will not be livestreamed as we wish to encourage physical attendance and interaction amongst our membership at the event. We will also be having post-meeting drinks held in the Lower Library afterwards for all attendees.

This years speakers include:

  • Richard Beaumont - Concept
  • Tom Morgan - Imperial
  • Jonny Neville - Mott MacDonald
  • Rachel Garside - PetroLab
  • Jill Thompson - Fugro
  • Tom Hall - Mott MacDonald
  • Charlene Ting - Arup
