Paris 2017 includes a large conference – in total over 1,000 technical oral and poster presentations – and a technical exhibition presenting the latest developments in geophysics, geology and reservoir/petroleum engineering. Around 6,000 people from almost 100 different countries visit this event annually.
EAGE has included the SPE EUROPEC event to create an extensive, multidisciplinary technical programme which reflects the scientific research disciplines within EAGE.
A full schedule is being built around the main technical programme consisting of numerous activities such as an opening session, an icebreaker reception, the popular Forum, executive sessions and a full schedule of workshops, field trips and short courses.
The preparations are also well underway to stage the exhibition where over 350 companies will be showcasing the latest technologies, new product launches and numerous industry services. It is a perfect platform to grow and strengthen a network of invaluable contacts and offers maximum exposure to companies and organizations in the geoscience field.
Finally, EAGE continues to cater in a big way for the upcoming generation of students. The programme is filled with activities such as technical presentations, workshops, a motivational speaker, the EAGE Geo-Quiz and more.
