New E-journals

Geological magazineGeological magazine is one of the oldest and best-known periodicals in the Earth Sciences. It publishes original papers, review articles, rapid communications and discussions about all aspects of the geosciences. It covers petrology, geochemistry, palaeontology, sedimentology, stratigraphy, structural geology, geophysics, and geomorphology, and it includes contributions on volcanology, marine geology, glaciology, palaeoclimatology, palaeoceanography, geochronology, biostratigraphy, geohazards and Earth history.

Full text from vol.134(1997) onwards is now available to Fellows of the society using an Athens login.

Geomechanics and geophysics for geo-energy and geo-resourcesGeomechanics and geophysics for geo-energy and geo-resources publishes research, new developments and case studies spanning the fields of geomechanics and geophysics, with special application to Earth’s subsurface. It includes theory and analysis, lab and field experiments, numerical methods and modeling, engineering applications and technology development, geothermal energy, unconventional oil and gas, geological disposal of energy wastes, and carbon sequestration.

Full text from vol.1(2015) onwards is now available to Fellows of the society using an Athens login.

Journal of ocean engineering and marine energyJournal of ocean engineering and marine energy publishes original articles on research and development spanning all areas of ocean engineering and marine energy. It is designed to advance scientific knowledge and to foster innovative engineering solutions in coastal engineering, offshore engineering, marine renewable energy, as well as climate change and the resulting sea-level rise.

Full text from vol.1(2015) onwards is now available to Fellows of the society using an Athens login.

Journal of paleontologyJournal of paleontology is produced by the Paleontological Society. It publishes original articles and notes on the systematics, phylogeny, paleoecology, paleogeography, and evolution of fossil organisms. It emphasizes specimen-based research and features high quality illustrations. All taxonomic groups are treated, including invertebrates, microfossils, plants, vertebrates, and ichnofossils.

Full text from vol.86(2012) onwards is now available to Fellows of the society using an Athens login.

Modeling earth systems and environmentModeling earth systems and environment focuses on modeling in earth and environment related fields, such as: earth and environmental engineering; climate change; hydrogeology; aquatic systems and functions; atmospheric research and water; land use and vegetation change; modeling of forest and agricultural dynamics; and economic and energy systems. Furthermore, the journal combines these topics with modeling of anthropogenic or social phenomena and projections to be used by decision makers.

Full text from vol.1(2015) onwards is now available to Fellows of the society using an Athens login.

PaleobiologyPaleobiology is produced by the Paleontological Society. It publishes papers dealing with any aspect of biological paleontology. Emphasis is placed on biological or paleobiological processes and patterns, including macroevolution, extinction, diversification, speciation, functional morphology, bio-geography, phylogeny, paleoecology, molecular paleontology, taphonomy, natural selection and patterns of variation, abundance, and distribution in space and time.

Full text from vol.38(2012) onwards is now available to Fellows of the society using an Athens login.

TectonicsTectonics is a monthly journal published by the AGU with editorial collaboration from the European Geosciences Union. It presents original scientific contributions that describe and explain the evolution, structure, and deformation of Earth's lithosphere. There are papers on field, laboratory, petrological, geochemical, geochronological, geophysical, remote-sensing, and modeling studies.
