Scrutineers are Chartered Geologists or Chartered Scientists, who have sufficient experience to enable them to judge whether or not an applicant for Chartered status has achieved an appropriate level of competence in their own field within Geology and are the key people involved in assessing applications for Chartership.

The Society is always keen to expand its cohort of Scrutineers, and we are looking for volunteers to act in this capacity.

If you are interested in becoming a Scrutineer, please download the job description and application form from the box on the right or contact Bill Gaskarth ( ) for further details.
